生き物が好きで、パズルが好きだという理由だけで生物の研究者になることを選んで、幸運にも職を得ました。 生き物の生活には現在の生物学者には説明できない現象があふれていますから、解き明かしたい謎には一生困らないでしょう。 これからも特に材料や現象にこだわらず、フィールドでの採集・実験・遺伝子実験・コンピュータシミュレーション・数値解析など様々な手法で、進化の視点から生き物が見せる不思議な現象を解き明かしていきたいと思っています。
